yes i got a call from these damn scammers

Machine called, using spoofed caller ID, playing a pre-recorded message about lowering my credit card rates, and the usual "Press 1 to speak to a live operator and lower your rates now." I get several of these calls a week, and I'm on the DNCL. I always press 1 and ask to be put on their do not call list. The usually acknowledge my request with a hangup. This time, the conversation went like this: Scammer: "Card Financial Services (or something similar, mumbled quickly), this is (mumbled her name quickly) speaking. Can I help you?" Me: "Are you going to hang up on me?" Scammer: "You betcha!" <click!> It's unfathomable. I really wonder why they bother to call, other than to harass and annoy people?

called at 9:27 a.m. on Saturday, January 10th,2009. I have been on a "do not call" list for a year now. If this continues I WILL be filing a report with BBB to shut this telemarketer down.

they call me multiple times a day,and it is getting really annyoing and i really wish that they would stop.

I signed up to get college information that was perfect for my background after answering questions, and you have to leave your phone number so they can call you.

Called my wife's work and asked for me, when she questioned them they hung up, when she tried to call it back it said it was a non working number...

scam scammer they know info on people and scam

Investigator looking for someone else, very courteous and polite, but said he couldn't tell me what it was in reference to because it was an on going investigation and was prohibited from doing so by federal law.

They call but dont leave a message. When I call back they want to ask ME a lot of questions: name, where I am calling from etc???? They are pretty suspect to me.

unsolicited spam text messages...end this now I don't feel like paying for useless text messages
